Virtual Captive Model

Virtual Captive Model

This outsourcing model is an upgrade from our Staff Leasing Model.

In this high control model, you retain a greater level of control over your business, while transferring to International Parallel Sourcing a portion of operational and financial risk. The benefit that this model provides you with is solid return on investment, as well as flexibility to implement the solution more quickly.

International Parallel Sourcing owns the virtual captive centre(s) but you can implement and reflect your existing branding and corporate culture as you deem fit to adopt. This is possible because this model allows you to place your in-house management team at our global delivery centre(s) to oversee the transfer of knowledge and processes, conduct the selection and training of virtual staff, and manage the working functions of the centre. It provides you with 100% operational control.

You only need to tell us what type of resources you are required to run and manage your project, and we will acquire them in a cost and time-efficient manner. All these resources are owned by International Parallel Sourcing, however, you are able to retain some ownership of certain resources.

The Virtual Captive Model also allows you to have more say about your required resources, such as a segregated office space, layout of your office space, type of furniture, customised security system, customised/separate servers, etc.

Setup Process

Stage 1 - Initiation
The client realises the potential of outsourcing and initiates the process.
Stage 2 - Analysis and Validation
At this critical phase in our “Virtual Captive Model” we identify outsourcing opportunities and understand your outsourcing requirements.

During the Analysis Phase a Project Transition Plan is Finalised which includes:

  • The Project Schedule
  • HR Plan – Recruitment, headcount & positions that need to be filled, detailed job descriptions, and training & development – (optional)
  • Facilities & Services Requirements – Infrastructure, technologies, office space, and professional working environment
  • Data Security, Confidentiality, Intellectual Property Protection, and Operational Backup Plan – Intended processes, procedures, infrastructures, technologies, tools, applications, software, systems, standards, contracts, and undertakings to protect & secure your project
  • Organisational Structure – (optional)
  • Corporate Culture – (optional)
  • Any other documentation essential to form a greater understanding of your requirements

Once the analysis is completed and the transition plan is drafted, all the documents are validated and signed off by the client, so that there is no room for deviation from the plan’s specifications and the actual service.

Stage 3 - Negotiation
We pass on your outsourcing requirements to our 1500+ pre-qualified global delivery centres, and each interested delivery centre provides us with a quotation (global delivery centres competing for your business).

We supply you with multiple FREE (no obligation) quotes from our shortlisted global delivery centres.

You make the decision of which delivery centre best meet your requirements.

Prices and terms & conditions are negotiated & confirmed.

Agreements are signed – Contracts, SLAs and other agreements are signed between 2 Australian companies (you and IPS); and separate contracts, SLAs and other agreements are signed between IPS and its offshore delivery centre.

Stage 4 - Pilot Project Preparation
Required Facilities & Services (infrastructure, technologies, office space, and professional working environment) are allocated/acquired.

Virtual staff is recruited and trained (optional).

Pilot project kick-off meeting takes place to ensure we are on the same page as the client.

Stage 5 - Pilot Project Execution
A pilot project is carried out on a small scale. Results are analysed, feedbacks are sought and any necessary changes are implemented to meet your requirements and approach.

Once happy with the results, the client approves the project to move forward.

Stage 6 - Project Expansion Preparation
This is an expansion of stage 4.

Project kick-off meeting takes place to ensure we are on the same page as the client.

Stage 7 - Expansion
This is an expansion of stage 5.

Results are analysed and feedbacks are sought on an ongoing basis.
